Attracting Success in MLM by Branding Yourself as An Expert, NOT a Clone

Branding yourself as an expert in your industry is the #1 way to attract a whole lot of leads into your marketing system.

However many new network marketers fail to see the value of what they can provide while they are just learning themselves.

Seth Godin in his book Everyone’s an Expert said; “Everybody is an expert about something. Everybody has a passion, a hobby and a cause. And you’re justifiably proud of your point of view.”

The point is, taking action. It’s the single most important thing you can do. You must Stop waiting until you have everything figured out before you begin to impliment what you’re learning.

I was taught a very valuable lesson that I failed to impliment for a long time which can greatly incrrease the effectiveness of your time.

1.) Learn a strategy
2.) Impliment the strategy
3.) Teach that strategy to someone else

As soon as you learn something, impliment into your business. Once you’ve seen that it is valuable, and others could benefit from what you’ve learned, teach what you learned and how you did it.

People are looking to work with a leader that takes action and can show them how to solve their problems.

A great way to accomplish this for example, is to write plenty of articles on the subject you’re attempting to establish yourself as an expert in. Articles are easy, and they continue to be a key tool for marketers to attracting new prospects into their marketing system.

By writing a lot of articles and building a reputation for yourself as a person that provides valuable information.

You can attract a large stream of targeted traffic to your central hub by having a lot of quality content in strategic places on the internet leading to your website.

So what can you write about?

Well, let’s talk about a key problem most people face in MLM first.

In Network Marketing most MLM companies want you to focus on their product, service, or opportunity. However, do they ever teach you how to do anything more than;

1.) Make a list of ALL your family, friends, co-workers, and anyone you can drag, pull, or tow in to hear “Your Upline” explain what a ground breaking opportunity they have the priviledge to join. Yeah, Right!

2.) Just make up some fliers and put them on; car windshields, bilboards, in resturaunts, oh and don’t forget to hand them out to people at grocery stores, church events, and your co-workers.

Ok, so you’re promoting an online MLM company. Maybe it’s a little different for you. What your company upline is telling you to do is;

1.) Get a twitter profile, and send out a gazillion tweets on how great your opportunity is and that by this time next week they will have an internet goldmine with thousands of dollars pouring into their bank account. Are you discouraged yet by using that strategy?

Yeah, I know… Are you wondering why no one wants to talk to you anymore? And why you can’t even get anyone to follow you, or be friends with you on the internet. I’ve been there my friend.

I could go on and on with the terrible advise that is given by 97% in Network Marketing. I wonder if there is any correlation to the huge percentage of people failing to make it in Network Marketing? I think so
